House rules

To ensure that the Profile Truckstar Festival remains safe, enjoyable and well-organised, the following house rules apply to all visitors, participants, exhibitors and other persons present on the festival grounds, campsite and parking areas. By entering the premises, everyone agrees to comply with these house rules and with the instructions of the organisation, security staff, traffic controllers and emergency services.

1. General conduct

Everyone is welcome at the Profile Truckstar Festival. Visitors must treat fellow visitors, employees, participants, exhibitors and the festival grounds with respect. Aggression, intimidation, discrimination, threats, vandalism, theft, nuisance or failure to follow instructions from the organisation will not be tolerated.

2. Admission and tickets

Access is only permitted with a valid ticket. The organisation may check tickets and inspect visitors, bags, vehicles or brought-in items whenever this is necessary for safety or organisational purposes.

3. Safety on the grounds

Emergency exits, driving routes, rescue roads and passageways must be kept clear at all times. Instructions from the organisation, security staff, traffic controllers and emergency services must be followed immediately. Entering restricted areas or climbing on fences, stages, vehicles or objects is not permitted.

4. Trucks, vehicles and driving movements

Vehicles may only drive on designated routes and at designated times, and must travel at walking speed. Honking, burn-outs, dangerous manoeuvres and driving under the influence are prohibited. Drivers remain responsible for their vehicle, cargo and behaviour on the grounds.

5. Camping and overnight stays

Overnight stays are only permitted in designated camping areas and with a valid camping ticket. Please be considerate of other campers, avoid excessive noise and leave your pitch clean. Trucks and detached tractor units are not permitted on the campsite unless prior permission has been granted by the organisation. Open fires are strictly prohibited. Barbecues are permitted, provided they are not in direct contact with the asphalt and fire extinguishers are available.

6. Alcohol, drugs and smoking

Alcohol consumption is only permitted in accordance with the law. Serving, supplying or selling alcohol to minors is prohibited. The possession, use and sale of drugs are not permitted. Smoking and vaping are only allowed in designated areas.

7. Prohibited items and vehicles

Dangerous or disruptive items are prohibited, including weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs and glassware where prohibited. Large sound systems and drones without written permission from the organisation are not allowed. Scooters, quads, minibikes, electric scooters, motorcycles and other motorised vehicles are not permitted.

8. Noise and nuisance

The Profile Truckstar Festival is a lively event, but unnecessary nuisance is not permitted. Music, engine noise and other sound sources may only be used within the times and rules established by the organisation. Music may be played during the following time slots:

  • Saturday 25 July: 08:00 to 23:30
  • Sunday 26 July: 09:00 to 18:00

In case of nuisance, the organisation may take appropriate measures.

9. Waste and grounds

Waste must be disposed of in the designated bins and containers. Bulky waste, parts, sofas, bicycles, oil, liquids and other materials may not be left behind. Any damage, pollution or cleaning costs will be charged to the person responsible.

10. Photography, video and media

During the festival, photographs and videos may be taken by the organisation, the press and visitors. By entering the grounds, visitors agree that they may be recognisable in such images or recordings. Commercial recordings and the use of drones are only permitted with prior permission.

11. Exhibitors, sales and promotion

Sales, promotion and sampling are only permitted with permission from the organisation. Exhibitors must comply with the agreements made and set up their stand safely, neatly and within the allocated space. Unauthorised sales or promotion may be stopped.

12. Children and pets

Children remain under the responsibility of their parent(s), guardian or supervisor at all times. Dogs are permitted, provided they are kept on a leash, do not cause nuisance and their waste is cleaned up immediately. Dogs are allowed on the campsite, but not in furnished tents.

13. Liability and own risk

Visitors enter the festival grounds, campsite and parking areas at their own risk. The organisation is not liable for loss, theft, damage or injury. Visitors, participants, drivers, exhibitors and campers remain responsible for their own belongings, vehicles, equipment and any damage they cause.

14. Violation of the house rules

In the event of a violation, the organisation may take measures such as issuing a warning, removing a person from the grounds, confiscating wristbands or accreditations, excluding participation or involving security or the police. Any resulting damage or costs may be charged to the person responsible.

15. Final provision

In situations not covered by these house rules, the organisation of the Profile Truckstar Festival will decide. The organisation reserves the right to amend these house rules when necessary for safety, legal regulations or the proper conduct of the event.
